He spends his days teasing and fighting his childhood friend Sumika, and his other close friends, Mikoto, Kei, Chizuru and Miki. When a strange girl his age appears in his home, his relatively ordinary life begins to change rapidly. In Alternative: ~!Takeru wakes up to find himself in the room he was in three years ago. Determined to prevent the mistakes of the past world from happening again, he uses his knowledge of the future to change the world, and complete the Alternative IV plan. Originally from a peaceful world, Takeru gets to know this different and cruel world and the people within it, seeing differing ideologies of the people around him, and alien monsters with no ideology. In hopes that he can obtain a future precious for Earth, and his beloved friends and family.!~ In The Day After: ~!Following "The Day" and the climate disaster that followed it, Takeru is one of the survivors of Operation Iceberg and manages to evacuate Japan.
